Virginie loves to get lost, somewhere halfway in between literature, theatre, dance, and music. Virginie has acted in two young audience shows by the company Meute Monde: Love lion and À chacun sa chanson, two solo shows that combine acting, singing, dancing, puppetry, and ecological awareness. Since 2018, Virginie has been developing a practice in the creation of original musical theatre works both in French and English within the CMTWC (Canadian Musical Theatre Writers Collective), for which she has also taught the first French edition of the class, in collaboration with author and composer Jonathan Monro. In May 2022 she was part of the first edition of the Académie internationale de mise en scène de théâtre musical in Nîmes. As a perfectly bilingual artist, she is a frequent collaborator of the anglophone and bilingual theatre scene in Montreal, with companies such as Tableau d’Hôte, Infinitheatre and Youtheatre. Her first play, NOLI, will be presented at the intimate venue of the Théâtre Prospero in November 2022.
